This Cookie Policy should be read together with Venuefy’s Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Platform to function securely. They may support authentication, login sessions, fraud prevention, security, load balancing, and storage of cookie-consent choices. Because the Platform may not function correctly without them, they cannot generally be disabled through Venuefy’s cookie preference tool.

3.2 Functional Cookies

Functional cookies allow the Platform to remember user selections and provide enhanced functionality. Disabling these cookies may cause certain features or personalised settings to work differently or become unavailable.

3.3 Analytics and Performance Cookies

These cookies help Venuefy understand how users interact with the Platform. Information may include pages visited, time spent, traffic sources, search activity, features used, error reports, and general device or browser information. Venuefy may use aggregated or pseudonymised information to improve the Platform.

3.4 Advertising and Marketing Cookies

Subject to applicable consent requirements, these cookies may be used to deliver relevant advertisements, measure campaign performance, limit advertisement frequency, understand whether an enquiry or registration was completed, and create marketing or remarketing audiences.

3.5 Social Media Cookies

Where the Platform contains social-media buttons, embedded videos, or sharing tools, the relevant third-party provider may place cookies or collect interaction information. That processing is governed by the provider’s own privacy and cookie policies.

4. First-Party and Third-Party Cookies

First-party cookies are placed directly by Venuefy and are mainly used to operate, secure, and improve the Platform.

Third-party cookies may be placed by service providers supporting analytics, maps, payment processing, communication, advertising, embedded media, customer support, or Platform security. Those providers may process information under their own policies. Venuefy does not control cookies independently placed by third parties.

5. External Websites and Venue Partners

Venuefy may connect users with venue owners, vendors, payment providers, map services, social-media platforms, or other third parties. When a user leaves Venuefy or interacts directly with a third-party website, application, payment page, advertisement, or embedded service, that third party may use its own cookies.

Venuefy is not responsible for the cookies, content, security practices, or privacy practices of independent third parties. Users should review the relevant third party’s privacy and cookie policies before providing personal information.

6. Cookie Consent and Preferences

Where required by applicable law, Venuefy will seek consent before using non-essential cookies. A cookie banner or preference tool may allow users to:

Accept all cookies;

Reject non-essential cookies;

Select permitted cookie categories; and

Change or withdraw consent later.

Strictly necessary cookies may remain active because they are required to provide and protect the Platform. A necessary cookie may also store the user’s consent choice so Venuefy can remember the preference.

7. Managing or Disabling Cookies

Users may manage cookies through Venuefy’s cookie preference tool, where available; browser or device settings; and advertising controls offered by relevant third parties.

Most browsers allow users to view, block, or delete cookies. Disabling certain cookies may affect login, search preferences, enquiries, bookings, dashboard features, or other Platform functionality. Deleting cookies may remove stored preferences and require users to provide cookie choices again.

8. Cookie Duration

Session cookies expire when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiry date or until deleted by the user.

Venuefy retains cookies only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were placed, subject to applicable legal, security, operational, and regulatory requirements. Third-party cookie duration is determined by the relevant third-party provider.

9. Information Collected Through Cookies

Depending on the device, preferences, and use of the Platform, cookies may collect:

IP address and approximate location derived from the IP address;

Browser, device type, and operating system;

Device, session, or advertising identifiers;

Login, authentication, and session information;

Pages visited, searches made, and actions performed;

Referral, attribution, and campaign information;

Date, time, and duration of visits; and

Technical logs, errors, and security information.

Personal information collected through cookies is handled in accordance with Venuefy’s Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is not intended for individuals who cannot provide valid consent under applicable law without the involvement of a parent or lawful guardian. Venuefy does not knowingly use cookies to create advertising profiles of children in violation of applicable law.

11. Security

Venuefy uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information collected through cookies. However, no internet-based system or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users remain responsible for protecting their devices, browsers, passwords, and account credentials.

12. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no universally accepted standard for responding to such signals, the Platform may not automatically respond to every Do Not Track request. Users can still manage cookies through the cookie preference tool or browser settings.

13. Changes to This Cookie Policy

Venuefy may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, Platform features, service providers, business practices, or legal requirements. The revised Policy will be published on the Platform with an updated “Last Updated” date. Where required, Venuefy may provide additional notice or request renewed consent.

Continued use of the Platform after an update will be governed by the revised Policy, subject to applicable law and consent requirements.
