REFUND POLICY

Venuefy(TM) - Venue Discovery and Booking Facilitation Platform

Effective date29 August 2026
Last updated29 August 2026
Document version1.0

This Refund Policy applies to payments made through the Venuefy(TM) website, mobile application, partner dashboard, or related services (collectively, the "Platform"). Venuefy(TM) is owned and operated by Amazonis IT Services Pvt. Ltd. ("Venuefy", "Company", "we", "us", or "our").

Important

By making a payment through the Platform, you agree to this Refund Policy, the Cancellation Policy, the Terms and Conditions, and the applicable terms disclosed by the relevant venue or service provider.

1. Venuefy's Role

Venuefy operates as a technology-enabled discovery, enquiry, lead-generation, communication, and booking-facilitation platform connecting customers with independent venues, vendors, and service providers (collectively, "Service Providers").

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

Venuefy does not own, operate, manage, control, or directly provide the venue or event service.

The relevant Service Provider is responsible for service quality, availability, facilities, pricing, licences, safety, fulfilment, and representations made regarding its services.

Venuefy does not independently guarantee a refund for dissatisfaction, non-performance, deficiency, misconduct, or disputes relating to services delivered by an independent Service Provider.

Any refund relating to Service Provider charges remains subject to that Service Provider's cancellation and refund terms and to the amount actually received or recovered by Venuefy.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law.

2. Payment Components

A transaction may include one or more of the following components:

Venue or Service Provider charges;

Booking advance or token amount;

Venuefy platform, service, or facilitation fee;

Convenience or payment-processing fee;

Applicable taxes, including GST; and

Charges for optional or value-added services.

Each payment component may be governed by separate refund conditions disclosed during the booking or payment process.

3. Non-Refundable Payments

Unless required by applicable law or expressly confirmed otherwise in writing, the following amounts are non-refundable:

Venuefy platform, service, subscription, listing, lead-generation, onboarding, or facilitation fees;

Convenience, gateway, processing, administrative, or documentation charges;

Taxes already deposited with the relevant authority, except where legally adjustable;

Booking advances or token amounts declared non-refundable before payment;

Payments for services already commenced, delivered, used, or partially consumed;

Promotional, discounted, customised, bundled, or limited-period bookings;

Costs reasonably incurred by a Service Provider in preparation for an event;

Amounts forfeited because of a no-show, delayed arrival, misconduct, or failure to meet booking conditions;

Amounts affected solely by a change in the customer's plans, preferences, guest count, budget, date, location, or requirements; and

Third-party costs that Venuefy cannot recover.

4. When a Refund May Be Considered

4.1 Duplicate Payment

Where the same transaction has been successfully charged more than once, the verified duplicate amount may be refunded.

4.2 Failed Transaction

Where an amount has been debited but the booking or payment is not successfully recorded, Venuefy will verify the transaction with the relevant payment gateway or bank. Such amounts are generally reversed automatically by the bank. If no automatic reversal occurs, Venuefy may initiate a refund after successful verification.

4.3 Cancellation by Venuefy

If Venuefy cancels a service directly provided by Venuefy and no reasonable alternative is accepted by the customer, the eligible amount received for that specific service may be refunded.

4.4 Cancellation by a Service Provider

If a Service Provider cancels a confirmed booking, Venuefy may assist the customer with one or more of the following:

Identifying a reasonable alternative Service Provider;

Requesting rescheduling or booking credit from the Service Provider; or

Processing any refundable amount actually received, approved, or returned by the Service Provider.

Venuefy is not required to refund an amount paid directly to a Service Provider or an amount that Venuefy has not received or recovered.

4.5 Material Transaction Error

A refund may be considered where Venuefy confirms that a material billing or payment-processing error occurred solely due to the Platform.

5. Situations Not Eligible for Refund

A refund will ordinarily not be provided where:

The customer changes their mind after making payment;

The customer finds another venue or service at a lower price;

The customer does not attend or use the booked service;

The customer provides incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information;

The event is cancelled because of personal, financial, travel, guest-related, or planning reasons;

The customer violates venue rules, Platform terms, applicable law, safety requirements, or booking conditions;

The dispute concerns food, decoration, staff conduct, parking, rooms, capacity, amenities, timings, cleanliness, or any other service delivered by an independent Service Provider;

The Service Provider refuses a refund under the terms accepted by the customer;

The services have already been delivered or substantially performed;

The booking was made under a non-refundable or special promotional rate; or

The request is unsupported, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, or unverifiable.

6. Direct Payments to Service Providers

Any payment made directly to a venue, vendor, employee, representative, bank account, UPI ID, QR code, or payment link not owned or controlled by Venuefy remains outside Venuefy's custody and control.

Venuefy is not responsible for refunding such payments. The customer must raise the request directly with the recipient Service Provider. Any assistance offered by Venuefy is voluntary and does not create a financial liability or guarantee recovery.

7. How to Request a Refund

A customer must submit the request through the official contact channel displayed on www.venuefy.in and provide:

Full name;

Registered mobile number and email address;

Booking or transaction ID;

Name of the relevant venue or Service Provider;

Payment date and amount;

Clear reason for the request;

Payment receipt or bank statement; and

Relevant supporting documents, screenshots, or communications.

The request should be submitted as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 7 calendar days of the relevant transaction, cancellation, or issue. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.

8. Verification and Decision

Venuefy may contact the customer, payment gateway, bank, venue, or Service Provider to verify the request. Venuefy may reject or place a request on hold where:

Required information is incomplete;

The claim cannot be verified;

The Service Provider disputes the claim;

Fraud, misuse, manipulation, or chargeback abuse is suspected; or

The request falls outside this Policy or the applicable booking terms.

The customer will be informed of the decision through the registered contact details.

9. Refund Processing Timeline

Once a refund is approved:

Venuefy will ordinarily initiate the refund within 7-10 business days;

The refund will generally be sent to the original payment method;

The bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or payment gateway may require additional time to credit the amount; and

Venuefy is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, public holidays, regulatory checks, or incorrect customer information.

Where a refund to the original payment method is not possible, Venuefy may require additional verification before using an alternative method.

10. Partial Refunds and Deductions

An approved refund may be reduced by:

Non-refundable platform, convenience, gateway, or administrative fees;

Taxes or statutory deductions that cannot be reversed;

The value of services already delivered or costs already incurred;

Cancellation charges imposed under the Service Provider's terms;

Discounts, cashback, promotional credits, or benefits already used; and

Any other deduction disclosed during booking.

Venuefy may provide a refund calculation or settlement summary where applicable.

11. Rescheduling or Booking Credit

Instead of a monetary refund, Venuefy or the Service Provider may offer rescheduling, booking credit, a replacement venue or service, adjustment against a future booking, or another reasonable settlement.

Any credit issued will be subject to its stated validity period, usage conditions, availability, and applicable Service Provider terms. Credits are not transferable or redeemable for cash unless expressly stated otherwise.

12. Force Majeure

Venuefy will not be responsible for cancellations, delays, or service failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics, government restrictions, strikes, civil disturbance, venue closure, power failure, transport disruption, or comparable force majeure events.

Any refund, credit, or rescheduling in such circumstances will depend on applicable law, the terms of the relevant Service Provider, and the amount recoverable from that Service Provider.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, the customer should contact Venuefy and allow a reasonable opportunity to investigate the matter.

Fraudulent, duplicate, abusive, or unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension of the customer's account, cancellation of pending bookings, recovery of chargeback fees or losses, and appropriate legal action. This clause does not prevent a customer from exercising any lawful remedy.

14. Venue Partner and Vendor Payments

Refunds, adjustments, commissions, subscriptions, listing fees, lead fees, penalties, and other commercial payments involving venue partners or vendors are governed by the applicable agreement, order form, pricing plan, or commercial terms executed with Amazonis IT Services Pvt. Ltd.

This customer-facing Refund Policy does not override a separately executed partner or vendor agreement.

15. Changes to this Policy

Venuefy may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in applicable law, Platform operations, payment processes, or business practices. The revised Policy will be published on the Platform with an updated date. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the policy in effect on the transaction date will ordinarily govern that transaction.
